Obedeki a romantic Comedy by Solomon Odiase Iguanre is the story of a house boy Obedeki and Cordelia a student of the Theatre and the daughter of an overbearing Father who could do as much as put his daughter in a dungeon right through his siiting room.

Obedeki is a master of the impromptu acts,,He has learnt to flip in and out of roles if only to survive the precarious role of a houseboy.Ironically,Cordelia would have to lean on this second class citizen as hired by her Father to learn her lines.Eventually they fall in love.

Solomon Iguanre born November 26 1963,a third generation Playwright coming after Wole soyinka and Femi Osofisan was the Artistic Director of the Laffomania Organisation,a university of Ibadan ,Undergraduate outfit to be described much later as perhaps the funniest outfit in south west Nigeria. A laffomania show then was a mixed grill of grotesque acts and boisteriuos humour. A veritable an effective catharsis for the resulting fall outs of the demands and jeremiads of University life.
Solomon Iguanre has written a number of other plays published and unpublished.those published include The Grave Encounter an expose of HIV/Aids and Another ideally suited for Children titled How mosquito began to bite Man.

Solomn Iguanre,one of the very few theatre entrepreneurs of his generation is also a publisher, He served as Artistic director of Educare Trust, A leading Health and Education NGO ,in Ibadan,Nigeria.Amongst other engagements he has been invited to speak on Hiv/Aids and to pesent his works to thousands of Students around Nigeria.

Ebun Oni is Vice Chair person of the International commission for earth sciences in Africa(ICESA).She is in a way reminding of the physicist Poynting, who affirmed that one of the qualities of a good scientist is being able to write poetry.She writes poetry and has authored at least one philosophical work: EXPLORING THE MIND ;A colection essays and poems.She has also writtem on Knowlegde and the idea of the Universiy.Her Publications include one book on Modern Physics for Undergradutes.
